Staff /Bong/ Bo is the primary weapon for
training in Tang Soo Do. Students are instructed in basic motion skills,
forms and defensive/offensive techniques.

Association curriculum.
Unarmed Knife Defense - At
intermediate and advanced belt (gup) levels students are instructed in
various knife defensive techniques. The techniques are to be
demonstrated during testing's. HDMAA provides more in-depth
training in the fight skills classes including tactical knife fighting
principals
Escrima Students are instructed in basic motion skills,
forms and defensive/offensive techniques.
Drills are practiced to develop overall coordination and counter
attacking against various types of weapons. Stick of this type are legal
to carry in most states without causing undue concern by law
enforcement

forms and defensive/offensive techniques.

Mixed Weapons Training,
Training is provided to adults to familiarize oneself with various
weapons to experience advantages and disadvantages with each type and to
provide a more rounded martial arts experience.
